Fairsail comes in two editions; which you need depends on whether or not you are already using Salesforce applications. If you are already using Salesforce then the Fairsail AppExchange Edition is for you. If not, or if you wish to keep your Fairsail data separate to your sales data, then you need the Fairsail Platform Edition.
Fairsail AppExchange Edition
Install the AppExchange Edition into your existing Salesforce site. All existing Salesforce users will have access to Fairsail. Currently you must have Salesforce Unlimited Edition to add Fairsail to your Salesforce site. Our free 30-day trial of the Fairsail Platform Edition is a great way to learning about the service. Sign up and use it for 30-days. You will need to transfer any real data you create into your regular site when you go live.
Currently the AppExchange Edition is only available to Salesforce.com Unlimited Edition or Salesforce.com Enterprise Edition with Power Pack. It will be available to other editions second quarter of 2008.
Fairsail Platform Edition
Sign up for our free 30-day trial. Purchase your user licenses from Fairsail before the end of that trial to ensure uninterrupted service. Fairsail Platform Edition includes a Salesforce Platform Edition license. You do not need to purchase anything from Salesforce direct.
