Multi-Language

Multi-Language / Multi-Company

Fairsail has several features to support both multi-language (translate) and multi-company (override) usage. All self-service and admin UI, fields and object names are held in tables. The English version of these is overridden to change name of items (e.g. “competency assessment” and “objective”) to those of the customer. In addition each mapping has a different version for each language. The multi-language extends to Fairsail libraries such as competencies and rating scales.

Fairsail users have a localization setting that controls which language they see.  For self-service there is also an option to change languages on team member profile page (seen first after login).

Fairsail supports all of its workflows in multiple languages, with users seeing their selected language.  So, for example, a person can gather competency assessment feedback from different colleagues in different languages, with results displayed in any of those languages (or even a new different one).
