Sage Summit tour takes to Toronto
Canada’s ‘unofficial opposition’, a Next Gen Den Dragon, and entrepreneurs across Canada will come together on 27 and 28 June this month, as the next stop of Sage’s world Summit Tour kicks off in Toronto.
The event, which follows similar dates in the US and across Europe, brings together entrepreneurs and business leaders to network, explore some of the latest discussions in industry, and hear insight from a range of experts in the business sector.
Amongst those experts will be our very own Executive Vice President of Sage People, Adam Hale, who will be speaking during the summit’s keynote address on why a company’s most valuable asset is its people.
Adam will explain how People Science is leading the way, and set out some of the findings of our latest report ‘Becoming a People Company’, in which we surveyed over 500 business leaders on the challenges they face in a rapidly changing landscape. Just as Personnel changed to become HR, now too HR is evolving to become a people function. Adam will explain why this is so important, and what businesses can do to get ahead.
Joining Adam during the keynote address will be comic, satirist and TV host Rick Mercer – also known as ‘Canada’s unofficial opposition’ thanks to his razor-sharp wit and avid interest in politics – and celebrated Dragon on CBC’s online ‘Dragon’s Next Gen Den’, Michael Hyatt.
For attendees looking to find out more about becoming a people-centred organization, Adam and the Sage People team will also be running a series of sessions over the two-day summit, exploring how HR is transforming to people, and introducing the Sage People cloud platform.
We’ll also be manning a booth at the summit, where businesses can find out more about our global cloud people platform. Keep your eyes peeled for us.
Sage Summit Toronto is Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 June at the Beanfield Centre, Toronto. Join us there to find out how to get ahead of the HR-to-people revolution.
